BIG road trip for the Cubs here. Got the red hot Giants in SF followed by big series in Milwaukee and St. Louis. If they can't figure out their road woes here they may be playing catch up the rest of the way

Pirates strand 3 in the first, but really make Ponce de Leon work for it. Most likely another deep bullpen game for the Cards coming.

I think this trip determines what move(s) Theo makes for the roster. If they take the series against the Giants, I expect a pretty significant move soon after.

Nice, still holding our own while Cleveland is beating up on the AAAA circuit. Good start to the series.

It was weird baseball night. 5 solo HRs, then an inning where 3 runs were scored on catcher interference with the bases loaded and two fielder's choices.

Where's Jr? We just got treated to Steve Cishek's slider in the lefty batter's box. He's allowed at least one per appearance.

Also, I don't get Cishek. He has great numbers, but seems to be in the process of blowing the game almost every time I see him pitch.

KB with a fantastic diving play to save a run. Then a single and SB to get in position to score on Rizzo's 0-2 double.

Nice baseball to add an insurance run to the lead.
