Omg Hicks saved the game. Man... thought for sure that was a bases clearing double and the game.

the bottom half of the Cubs roster stinks. It's really costing them everything right now. Still in the believe they need a solid bat also.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

Hicks with the play of the Year thus far considering the game, the situation in the game, closing the game, the route and speed and distance and difficulty, etc.
Also, Trout.
I hate not watching baseball because I'm doing **** like making dinner and cleaning and whatever other nonsense things instead. Annoying. Can't believe I missed that ****.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 07-24-2019, 12:39 AM.Comment

Wow, that velocity on the throw is the most surprising since the only tool he was missing when he entered the league was arm strength. I knew he improved it, but that is crazy.Comment

Re: 7/22 - 8/4 Game Discussion Thread
I wonder what Joe Maddon's thought process was tonight in starting Kyle Schwarber in LF with Bumgarner on the mound. Not only is the Oracle Park outfield a tough cover, but Schwarber is also batting .193 against lefties in his career so far. So, I wasn't shocked to see Schwarber go 0-4 with 2 K from the leadoff spot including popping up in a key spot. It seems like a pretty obvious situation to bring him off the bench to pinch hit late in the game.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

The road woes continue for the Cubs. I'm about ready to punt on this season, despite winning the division more than likely. I don't see them getting past the division series.Comment
