I really hope this game is the turning point of the season.

          So glad we're handling business.

For the 3rd day in a row, a player has a 3-HR game.

"Every time we get a chance to play them and you get a chance to bury them, that's all you want to do; keep expanding the lead." - Didi Gregorius, 7/24/19

24 hours later, the Red Sox bat around in the 1st, win 19-3.

"Bury them" is gonna be right up there with Judge playing New York, New York.

Well, the Angels should have won on a walkoff bases clearing double by Trout but the umpires were scared losers who didn't have the nuts to overturn an incorrect "out" call at home.

                  Dumb. Waste.

The Orioles’ Stevie Wilkerson became the first position player in MLB history to earn a save. He pitched a perfect 16th inning in the O’s win.

He threw 14 pitches, and not a single one was over 60 MPH.

Who started the trend of position players pitching? Seems like past few years, but this one especially, we've seen teams doing it alot.

It's been around as long as baseball. Just looking at the list (624 position players have pitched) and it's got dates back as far as the 1870s. It doesn't have Wilkerson's save so it hasn't been updated yet.

                            I think we'll be ok.

                              Never suggested otherwise.

I know it's happened before, maybe its recency bias, but feels like it's happened more the past few years.
