also if Almora leads off again Joe Needs to be fired. it seems extreme but he keeps going back to it.
Sometimes I think Joe Maddon has almost no clue whatsoever. He does that whole pitcher batting 8th thing (not really doing it this year) so it seems like he thinks strategy. Then he goes months with Schwarber and Almora leading off. I'm at the point where, notwithstanding the team's many struggles that probably have nothing to do with Joe, I can't see him returning next season under any circumstances. Well, barring a ridiculously improbable World Series run that ain't gonna happen with this incredibly mediocre team.

The Marlins aren't as bad as people think they are. I'm telling ya. They've been an okay team for a couple of months now. The Braves, though, something is going on with that bullpen and it isn't all talent related, at least in regards to the players.

Pitchers on the Braves that I ever want to see again:

              Mike Soroka
              Max Fried
Julio Teheran as a 5th starter

It pains me to be rooting for a Nationals win today. Ugh.

Cubs trying to avoid another road series loss. I'll settle for a draw. KB playing big ball gives the Cubbies a 5-3 lead.

The ineptness of the Braves bullpen is having an effect off the field now:

The mess in the Atlanta Braves' clubhouse made by a punctured fire extinguisher has been cleaned up before Sunday's series finale at Miami.

Good lord, everything I post is me trolling to you and a couple of other people.

I have been pretty clear in saying the Marlins have actually been decent since their 10-31 start. They are over .500 in that span. You have somehow gone through the mental gymnastics to turn my Marlins posts into me trolling Phillies fans. Get over yourself, your team doesn't live rent free in my head like I do you.

To mvoe back on topic after having to defend myself from such a silly accusation, I see the Braves are still struggling today against this surging Marlins teams. It seems the NL East has turned into quite the division. The Marlins are playing better, the Nationals are surging big time, the Mets have even turned it on lately. Not a single team is a pushover at the moment.

The Marlins are not over .500 since their 10-31 start. They have a 44-72 record which makes them 34-41 in that span.

Cardinals tie game at 4 against the Pirates. A sweep would be a big deal right now, as the Cubs have taken control of their game over the Reds.

This is going to sound crazy, but I think Rowan Wick should be the Cubs setup man going forward. He gets batters out and there's something to be said for that. He even breaks bats and I'd like to see more of that from the Cubs bullpen.

Mets down 5-3 to the Nats in the bottom of the 7th. Got'em right where they want'em.
