    Michael Kay is a tool.....

    How they let this idiot on the air at 1050 ESPN is beyond me... An eternal Yankee apologist who does nothing but disparage the Mets... On a day where you could hardly find fault with what the Mets accomplished over the weekend, leave it to him... "The Mets were Beltran's third choice, he didn't want them in the first place, they over-spent, blah blah blah...." Now before, when it was a foregone conclusion that he'd wind up with the Yanks, this dolt is singing his praises... Now because the Yanks couldn't/didn't sign him, he decides to poop on the Mets parade... Any Met fan who took him to task for this was unceremoniously shown the exit. The thing that gets me, his update guy, Don LaGreca, is a huge Met fan, and SAID NOTHING while this idiot rambled on.... I liked the afternoon slot better with Wally and the Keeg.

              I must admit he did make it sound like the Mets were the ugly girl at the prom who was the last picked for a dance because somebody had to!

              I think it was good for the Mets! This is the first time in a long period in which they look like a team that belongs in the NY scene!

                      That's the whole thing... I don't care if he picked the Mets third, fifth, or tenth... Bottom line is, he's a Met, and that's all that matters... What I should have done was remind Michael Kay that the Yanks were A-Rod's second choice, after the Boston deal fell through... I'd have loved to hear someone remind him of that.

                                      Well he did want to go to the yankees ahead of the mets since boras gave the yanks a light discount i think 6 yr over 99 mil but other then that i think kay was wrong with what he said the mets show they are going to get better and i think that beltran wanna go
