It's time to start talking about it. Mets/Yanks Rivalry Revival

Well, we all know the Mets and Yanks are...well....not friends. Now that the Mets have signed Beltran and a few other key players, and are on the virge of signing even more key players, do you think it's time yet to start talking about a revival of the Yankees/Mets rivalry? If the Mets keep on making good signings like that, it's a good bet it could all make for some exciting games against the Yanks and other Rivals (Braves). What do you think? I definitely think there'll be some great Braves/Mets games next year just with what we already know, but what about the Yanks/Mets? Also, if the Mets somehow sign Delgado, would you be bold enough to start talking a possible Subway Series?

Personally I think even if the Mets end up signing gold glove Olerud to play first and few others, they might stand a pretty good chance against a Yankees team that at least to me appears to have a damaged pride problem going on. I think there's hardly any way this Mets team is going to go into this season ANYTHING but pumped up, which usually spells success from some of their key players like Mike Piazza. So anyways, what do you think?

Subway Series? The Mets have a better chance of going to the WS than the Yankees. I would like to see this rivalry again, but nothing will be better than Yankees and Red Sox.

The Yankees will be playing in October, the Mets on the other hand are a big question mark. On paper I'd say they're good for around .500. With the right breaks and some career years they could do better. The NL is a bit of a question mark right now.

The rivalry has never been dead, just dormant, You still get huge crowds during the interleague series and a lot of smack talk.

I just don't want to see another Subway Series again. The last time it happened the hype was WAAAAY too much for me.

Maybe it's because i'm not from NY. I liked it a bit but after the whole Clemens/Piazza thing it got too over the top for me.
