    AL East's Yanks and Red Sox

    This is definetely the year for a HUGE RACE!!! ... every game will come down to smart decisions and clutch actions. Luckily with the Wild Card, both of these teams have the best chances of getting in together!

    Using my Pitchers' Formula and Hitters' Formula, I compared the Yanks and Red Sox... and its a huge tossup!!!

    I dont think it can be determined by that. Some positions may be superior over the other by a large margin, or a small margian, which would completely skew the results.

    Lets just hope it'll come down to the wire like last year...

        The Red Sox have the better team.

        I feel like Wright is a one season wonder and I don't expect Pavano to come anywhere close to what he did last season. At the same time, Wells's numbers were inflated last season because he pitched at Petco.

        Both teams are stacked top to bottom and have the resources to upgrade if they need to before the trade deadline.

        It should be a fun battle!!! Either way I win.
