Giants and Cardinals - What a game

    Cards certainly don't just quit.
Down 2 to 0 they win a scrappy game 3.
Down 2 runs in the 9th they do everything but tie it up.

They put a lot of men on base, just couldn't get them home. SImilar to what the Giants had last night.

Benny really came through tonight. Just what a great game.
Hopefully tomorrow we can have another classic.

      WOO HOO my arse!

I do NOT like Grandpa Santiago either!

Darn Giants are playing better ball and the Cardinals are shooting themselves in the foot!

So it's over now right? Giants take the series 4-1. Man I'm so happy for Barry Bonds, the guys gets bashed all the time about stuff and now he's going to the Big One.

Arrogant Fairy Bonds isn't going anywhere yet. Only 3-1 in the series. Tonight is THE game for the Cardinals, although so far they can't score any runs.

In fact, if the Giants do happen to make it to the series, I hope the Angels kick the crap out of the arrogant Giants!!

            C'mon Lofton wuss!

I'm going to take a little heat for this but I don't like how Fox started showing Kyle's kid starting in the 3rd game as an extra inspiration for the Cards.

I hope that the Cardinals did not bring out the kid just to get extra motivation. The child lost his father and isn't some lucky token to be bought out in times of dire need. I'm not going to pass judgement on the Cards because it could very well be Fox making the story out of it. And I'm sure the Cards as an organization have been there throughout the entire ordeal for the Kyle's. I just really hope the way Fox has presented it isn't what was actually going on in the Cards clubhouse.

Oh my bad, I thought the series was over. I don't dislike the Cardinals I think they have a lot of class and I really like LaRussa, I just would like to see Barry go to the world series, though he isn't my favorite player.

It was FOX and the way they present a baseball game of any calibur.

Tim McCarver should be smacked upside the head and moved to a little league game... scratch that he's not even good enough for little league.

                  What a joke McCarver is!

I have to hand it to Dusty, he outmanaged LaRussa. I'm still shaking my head about LaRussa batting Morris in the 9th inning? Oh well, 3-39 with men in scoring position doesn't help either.

Congrats to the Giants and Angels, I just hope the Angels beat the crud out of the Giants and Fairy Bonds!!!
