    The L.A. Dodgers

I'm an Atlanta Braves fan; and as baseball season gets closer, I started thinking back to our series with the Dodgers last postseason. I'm still shaking my head. They are the most nerve wrecking, frustrating team I've ever seen in my 45 years on this earth. I've never seen a team that was able to fight off pitches the way they did from top to bottom...who had power from top to bottom...defense...pitching. As disappointed as I was because I felt like we blew it...I knew we lost against the best. So hats off for last season but...

The Braves will overtake the Dodgers this year! Go Braves!!

as a Braves fan from the days the Dodgers and Atlanta were in the old NL West, I was always glad the Braves left the West (while I'm on it, glad the Falcons left the NFC West too). hate LA, money can't buy you love but it can rent a few pennants. I think when Steinbrenner left his George body, he must have reincarnated as Dodger executive. they've certainly inherited the Yankee mantle as the most freewheeling baseball team since Steinbrenner left NY. I hate LA so much I refuse to make trades with them in MLB the Show

If the Braves fixed their baserunning, they would've been the ones in the World Series. I had to make a 20 minute chalk talk video explaining to my softball players on what the Barves screwed up and how badly it cost them. It was that atrocious.

The Dodgers are nasty, though. And they have like 19 relievers that can throw it 99+ MPH. I don't know what kinds of scouting tools the Giants use, but it hasn't worked since 2006.

As a Pirates fan (have pity on me, lol) who recently cancelled my cable package, I think I'm going to roll with the Dodgers this year. It's nice to watch a team who actually keeps their good young players and is willing to spend on a piece or two they need.

The team the Braves have managed to produce from within their own system is impressive. Very young and very good. I'm happy for Freddy Freeman; he had to spend the early part of his prime on some pretty bad Braves teams. Hoping he can finish his career on some good teams.

As a Dodgers fan, I can say that I enjoyed the last 3 games of the NLCS and 4 of the 6 games in the WS as well.
