I don't think this Braves team would have a winning record if all 162 games were against the Gonzalez era Braves teams.

This team is simply not a good baseball team.

I know inter league matchups don't happen often, but last time Jays won a series vs Braves, Chipper Jones and Bobby Cox were part of their team.

Here's a play you don't often see.

Albies hit the ball to the SS, ball thrown to 1B as Albies sprints past the base, and then after Albies starts turning back to 1B direction and takes the long way to the dugout....except he was safe, so now he's staring at the catcher who has the ball at 1B (since the ball went past the 1B on the throw) and realizes he's now caught in a rundown. The good old 2-4-6-3 out.

Wild one at GABP today, 9-8 Reds, mid 7th. Cubs have hit 4 HR's and still trail.

Reds tack on a 4th blast of their own, 11-8.

Marisnick bloop RBI single and Happ 3 run HR. Tie game at 12. Insane! 10 HR's now in the game, with an inning and a half still to play (at least).

I'm giving the pitchers too much credit. The Braves have only had 3 other seasons where their ERA was higher than it is this year.

The Mets can pitch and that should be the difference. The Braves are going to give up runs. The Braves have 2 people that can hit and one of them only plays every 5 games.

Cubs lose on an xtra inning special, but I don't feel too bad for them because they had Arietta pinchhitting with a runner on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs in the 10th. I'm assuming that's a result of having no position players left to hit, but that'll happen when you bring relievers in for 1 inning each starting from the 3nd inning on.

People gotta relax.

Padres vs Giants game, ball hit into the stands foul.

Ball bounces and lands in a row of people. Others start running trying to get it, one person closest to it bends down to pick it up, someone running down the stairs goes into the row behind them and almost lunges over the seats like a cross body and lands on their back. Nobody hurt, the original person close to the ball got it, and everyone left right after, but people go crazy for the smallest things.
