Miguel Cabrera tied Barry Bonds at 37th on the all-time hits list with 2935.

He just needs 1322 more hits to pass Rose.

I'm guessing he won't get to 3000 before the end of this season.

This might be the last "Mr.3000" for quite some time.

It takes about 20 seasons for a guy to get there. Altuve might have a shot but he'd have to play another 10-11 seasons. Same with Trout, although Trout is the more realistic one due to age.

But next time we see it after Cabrera will be the 2030s at the earliest.

Elvis Andrus is sitting at 1822 at age 32, 13 seasons in.
Obviously Trout you mentioned has a shot.
Bryce and Xander both at age 28 at around 1200, Mookie same age at 1100.

Other milestones from this game. Eric Haase was the first rookie in 60 years to tie a game in the 9th with a grand slam

It's also the first game in MLB HISTORY with opposing catchers both hitting a GS in the same game

The Lions just beat the Vikings 17-14.

Detroit scored 17 runs without hitting a single home run, the first time they've done that since 1961.

If the MLB ever has a vote on reducing games to 7 innings permanently, the Jays would vote in favor of it.

Insane stat they just talked about during the Mets game. 16% of Max Fried’s pickoff attempts result in a pickoff, the league average is 1.5%. And as soon as they mention that he picks off Jonathan Villar.

I’m not the biggest fan of Luis Rojas’ managing, but great move pitching to Austin Riley with guys on 2nd and 3rd and one out and getting the K. I’d have walked Riley with how he’s been crushing the Mets

I disagree with Frenchy. You don't have to send him there. I don't agree with sending him regardless if he is safe or not. That was a very shallow hit. You get 2 outs to drive the guy in. Great throw, but I think you hold them up 9 times out of 10 there.

                        That's absolutely incredible. Amazing efficiency

And that's why you don't send him. Sandoval ties the game up if the Braves don't play it overly aggressive.

I tend to agree that you don’t need to send him there. What will get overlooked is the failure to advance the runner with no outs. Do that and it’s all a moot point

Agreed. The last two innings of the game the Braves had some awful situational hitting there.

That's a series win over the Rays. Good to see Chapman with a couple huge saves Back2Back. Was worried about Nelson Cruz, but he blew him away.
