A month ago Tampa had a 7-game losing streak followed shortly by a 5-game losing streak. Even had a 3-game slump last weekend. Let's slow down a little on the "Here comes the collapse" and "Tampa taking over the East" conversation.
They still have 10 games against Boston this year. They've only got 3 left against New York, so it really is gonna be Boston and Tampa slugging it out for two months.
As for a homer response, we're about to get Sale back. Schwarber is on his way. 4 games in the longest losing streak we've had all year. We lead the league in comeback wins. We'll be fine.
