So I completed a trade last week. Max scherzer + Brandon belt for Rafael devers + Corey knebel. Couldn’t be happier with how it’s played out so far. Devers will most likely end up top 5-10 in MVP voting again, especially if the Red Sox make the playoffsComment

They’re gonna need him if they want to be taken seriously as a playoff contender this year. They made some solid off-season moves by adding Robbie ray and Winker / Suarez, but their run differential last year was awful, their lineup consists of too many contact hitters, and I’m not sure they have anyone else they can count on in their rotationHe was absolutely disgusting. Lodolo’s debut not going as smoothly as Greene’s. Had an amazing first inning striking out 2, but gave up two runs in the 2nd inning after walking three and hitting two batters. Then hung a curveball in the third inning that got deposited in the left field seats.

They took out Kershaw. He may never have that opportunity again. Just ****ing stupid. If I was Kershaw you'd have had to throw me out of that game. Not coming off that mound.
I get the injury history blah blah. He's at like 80 pitches. If he's at 100 it would be easier to defend.

Cardinals/Royals game postponed due to weather.
2nd game thus far for the Redbirds.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

That's insane. At least send him out in the 8th to see how it goes. But they didn't even want to do that because they were afraid he might have gotten through that inning in 10-15 pitches or less and then they would have looked like complete jerks not sending him out in the 9th. Might as well have a tablet manage your team.Comment
