Maybe I’m missing something so I’m open to being wrong here, but Anderson made a ridiculous comparison comparing himself to Jackie Robinson a few years ago and Donaldson mocked him for it. That’s what happened here, right? If so how is that worthy of any punishment at all?

TA went to the media and cried to them like a snitch and knew they'd run with it. Literally the worst thing you can do.
It's more offensive he called himself the next Jackie Robinson. He couldn't hold a candle to him.
Weak **** from TA. They were going at each other all series. And he was the first guy to get upset because Donaldson applied a hard tag on him. What a little bitch. That's what Donaldson should of said.

Was thinking about this watching Aaron Judge crush HRs, if Ohtani has even just a respectable year as a 2 way player don't the voters have to give him MVP using the logic from last season? I feel like this is a corner they are painted in. If he continues the current pace he has to win it like ever year now.Comment

Ohtani won last year because, aside from being a unique two-way player, he lead MLB, not just the AL, in all 3 WAR's. He led the AL in fWAR by 1.6, Baseball Reference's WAR by 1.7 and Baseball Prospectus' by 2.1 WAR. He isn't at that pace this year.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

There isn’t a player in baseball I hate more than Tim Anderson at this point. First with the bat flipping. Now with the fake racism. I’m not surprised he tried to pull the race card knowing that the media would eat it up. Props to Donaldson for getting in his head that much
On top of that, the guy is the luckiest player in the league. Look at his batting average on balls in play. He has an absurd rate of getting infield hits that is unsustainable as hell. On top of that, he’s a lead off hitter yet his walk rate is atrocious? I mean, you’d expect a guy leading the league in batting average to have an OBP of over .400 but it’s barely over his batting average because of how bad his plate patience is
