Yankees staff did a tremendous job with Trout and Ohtani in the series. Ohtani could have had a HR in the series but Judge robbed him. But overall as good as you can pitch those guys.

Pirates fans must feel sick about Tallon and Holmes playing so good. might as well at in Cole from the past as well. imagine would the pirates would be today if they spent money

Not surprised after being swept by the Mets and losing a very winnable Giants series. I still think the Phillies turn it around though, they're way too talented to be underachieving this much plus their run differential is still positive despite the slow start

This will be the spark that lights the fire underneath the team

Yordan Alvarez agrees to 6 year $115M extension. Perfect deal for both sides, especially if he continues his current level of play. He’ll be making his first All Star appearance this year

They shifted the entire defense to the right. And Carpenter puts down a beautiful bunt down the 3rd base line. I love it.

And what comes of that bunt. 3 runs ended up scoring . It led to a rally. These are the things the Yankees in previous years refused to do. Nothing wrong with small ball.

I don't think anybody wanted Joe back. Philly obviously got tired of Joe and his binder. I ve never liked Boone either. But I will admit he's been much more aggressive with his moves this year like his job is on the line.

Matt Blake has been the missing link though. I love that guy. No nonsense. And the pitchers have followed suit.
