Beautiful way to go into the ASB. It's a crime Torres isn't a All star though. Has a higher War then Altuve and Espinal. Both going to the ASG.

Yankees will be well represented though.

I'm probably reading way too much into it, but I'm surprised they included Mark McGwire highlights in the HRD intro. You'd think they'd want to erase that era from MLB history, specifically the guys like that.

Kinda hard to erase that era from MLB history, when a player from that era who was a prominent figure in what you're trying to erase, is in the record books for most homeruns in a single season and career.

MLB knew all about it. They were complicit.

If not for congress, I'm not sure they would have taken any action at all.

A bomb is putting it mildly lol

And that was pretty cool having the pitcher mic’d up on the mound for the entire half inning. That was pretty fun to listen to.

Good game. The AL dominance has gotten comical at this point.

                  G with the MVP.

Looking at remaining strength of schedules, I'd say the White Sox end up winning the central, Cards and Brewers are neck and neck until the end, Mets pull away in the east, Mariners get 1st WC spot, Jays and Rays get 2nd and 3rd WC.

If the Cardinals don't get pitching, or find arms within the organization to help, they aren't going to contend for the Central nor be a contender in the playoffs should they make it.

With Flaherty being transferred to the 60 Day IL, the Cards basically have Wainwright and Mikolas as their best starters and that is scary, at least to me as a fan.

I keep seeing them being thrown into the Juan Soto sweepstakes and I don't see it, or a better way of saying it is I don't want to see it happen. I'm not discounting Soto as a player or his impact on a team, but giving up the load it will take to land Soto isn't going to propel this team into serious contender this year. Those assets for Soto would be better utilized obtaining pitching.

Don’t ever underestimate the Mets ability to **** up an easy schedule and melt down during the final month of the season
