Nice ovation for Soto after drawing a walk in what was possibly his last plate appearance as a National

Gausman goes 8, allows 1 hit, 1 walk, and strikes out 10.

Jays now with a 4 game lead over TB (3 seed in WC) and 5 over Cleveland (top team not in a WC spot).

Brandon Drury hits a grand slam on the first pitch he sees as a Padre.

Soto walk, Manny double, Bell walk, Drury Slam.

As much as the Pirates suck, man do I love to see Cruz hit like that last HR.

When Tatis comes back that lineup is going to be a real problem.

Cards and Cubs will play two today after getting rained out last night.

Jose Quintana will make his Cardinal debut in game two this evening.

I don't see the Padres catching the Dodgers in the division but if they can get the home games in the WC series, it could go a long way for them in the postseason.

Hell of a play by Hayes at third to save the game and Reynolds again.
