This SNB piece on Pujols is the weirdest thing ever. I wouldn't even call these things a reach, this is just weird.

He's homer off of pairs like Justin-Bieber (Justin Verlander-Shane Bieber), Lincoln-Kennedy (Brad Lincoln-Ian Kennedy) among others.

He's homered off of 4 different guys named Wood.

He's homered off of several guys with a last name that's the name of a country.

This list goes on and on, I wonder how someone came up with anything here.

I wonder if the Braves will ever have a manager that knows how to manage a bullpen before I die. I feel like it would be cool to see someone understand modern baseball.

Interesting uniform decision tonight.

Jays vs Cubs in Toronto.

Cubs wearing their alternate blues.

Jays wearing their Canada Day red jerseys (at the request of SP Berrios).

Crowd does seem like a home crowd for Cubs due to the colours, but I think Jays doing it as a superstitious thing, trying to shake off this past weekend.

3 years after being traded, Stroman returns tonight to face the Jays in Toronto.

You almost forget he was part of the 2019 team and did play with lots of the core guys on the team today.

But his numbers that year says all you need to know about the Jays that year.

2.96 ERA in 21 starts and he had a 6-11 record.

That 2015 season was crazy though. "Season ending" injury, he took the time off to graduate, somehow returned in September, allowed 5 runs in 4 starts, and in the playoffs he allowed 2 runs through 6 innings in what was an uneventful game 5 vs the Rangers up to that point....

Not sure when they are going to take the training wheels off (pitch count) but when they do, George Kirby will be the Mariners ace.
