Cardinals lost Jose Quintana so hoping they look hard at the mid-tier starting pitching and of course bullpen help.
Stay out of the SS market. You kept young talent by signing Contreras and not trading for Murphy. Use the money to build pitching depth.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Rodon and Reynolds. That's who I want. Reynolds swing would play perfectly at The Stadium.

Re: 2022 - 2023 Hot Stove Thread
I've basically seen alot of NL teams get better. Mainly the Phils and Mets. Padres tried. But not many AL teams getting better.

Pleasantly surprised judge us staying. And he really squeezed every last penny out of the Yankees masterclass in how to handle your free agency.
Now the real work begins though this team needs help

I remember hearing a similar thing about Bautista when he became a FA. Didn't end up going to Baltimore because the team felt fans would hate him.Comment

The Red Sox got Japanese OF Masataka Yoshida!
A couple Twitter accounts think that it could mean they have an increased chance to also sign pitcher Kodai Senga.Last edited by TripleCrown9; 12-07-2022, 06:43 PM.Boston Red Sox

Re: 2022 - 2023 Hot Stove Thread
EDIT: I guess it was only $5M more (so $1M more per year). But still Yoshida is 2 years older than when Seiya signed last year.Last edited by CBoller1331; 12-07-2022, 07:51 PM.Chicago Cubs
