Good grief the Nationals left fielder has one of the worst arms I’ve ever seen

Ohtani was *inches* away from being the first starting pitcher to ever hit for the cyle. The home run he needed was caught at the wall.

Don't take that title from Jacoby Ellsbury. King of the noodle arms.

Not sure how to feel about this win. Great to get an 8th inning comeback, but not great that that they blew a four run lead the inning before. Mets pitching staff is in shambles

I know the Braves say they can't afford to resign Fried, but I really, really wish they would lock him up for the rest of his career. He's turned into a real stud.

For the first time in their 141-year history, the Cardinals have lost the first 9 series openers of the season.

Last night’s Mets/Braves game was an interesting dynamic that I hadn’t thought of with the pitch clock. The Braves had taken a 4-0 lead in the top of the 5th with the rains starting to increase.

Typically, you’d see a team in the Mets shoes take their time, step out, call time, etc, hoping to get the game called before it can become official. Instead, with the pitch clock the half inning moved quickly and was done just as the skies fully opened up. They never resumed and Braves won 4-0; before pitch clock that game probably never becomes official.

Under normal circumstances I think that might be the case but I think they were happy taking the loss and getting one game closer to Scherzer being reinstated

Caleb Kilian can't figure it out. Lights out at AAA last year, but since he got called up, he's been a disaster

                            Not a good start today

Jays win in extras and the game only lasted 2:21.

I mean sure, there were only 7 hits and 0 runs total in the first 9 but still.

And Gausman with 40Ks in his last 4 games!

This Padres/Giants game is a joke. Anything in the air is a HR
