Yea that's a W for the Cubs. They already got him for a steal last year. There's nothing to lose with this deal. Bellinger sure looked like he figured it out again. He's only 28. Seems wild to think about. But he might have some more MVP type years ahead of him.

Mets announcers were talking about the fact that Bellinger is a former ROY, MVP, and WS champion at age 28 and he’s been a FA 3 straight seasons if he opts out next year. I get why, but you don’t see players with that kind of resume not locked up long term.

Cardinals signing Brandon Crawford for backup SS duties.

So...is Trevor Bauer ever going to be back in the bigs? He's a weird dude and I don't think very like by teammates, but he was never charged with anything and it seems like from everything I've seen he was cleared in the court system.

Seems odd that a pitcher of his caliber isn't getting another chance...pitchers of his quality don't grow on trees.

I think he will. I honestly think teams are gauging public/media reactions to his public comments about wanting to pitch for a major league team again.

I believe that next winter a team will take a chance on him.

His accuser should be on trial, and MLB/LA should be sued for lost earnings.

He should be in the league.

Matt Brash has been shutdown by the Mariners.

Huge loss for that pen. They may have to dive into whatever is left on the reliever market.

The Snell coming home rumor won't die. But the beat guys seem to think that is Boras driven chatter.

I don't know what the Ms would do if that happened. 6-man rotation?

Miller has closer stuff, but I would think they'd keep him in the rotation after last year.

AA might want to go grab Eddie Rosario before the Marlins do…Kelenic hasn’t looked great so far and that would be a real hole in the lineup. At least you know what you get with Eddie…

The MLB is considering changing the pitcher limit from 13 to 12 to emphasize the use of starters for longer.

Sounds like Luis Urías came in out of shape and may start on DL. So hopefully the Ms are considering Matt Chapman.

Good point; I thought he signed back in Boston. We need someone else in case Kelenic falls on his face.

I’m surprised Rosario is still out there…but I’d take either him or Duvall.
