Hall of Fame broadcaster Chuck Thompson dead at 83

The longtime voice of the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Colts has died at the age of 83. He was taken to hospital due to a massive stroke and died yesterday.

I've heard him call a couple games and he was a very good broadcaster IMO. He had a distinctive style that we don't see from broadcasters anymore.

My condolences to the family and the O's organization as he still broadcasted up to 25 games a year over the past decade.
