      Can’t say I agree with pitching Diaz with a four run lead after pitching last night. That pretty much rules him out for tomorrow

        That’s a tough blow, his numbers don’t look great but he’s had a .900 OPS since the all star break. Maybe they call up Acuna’s brother

          Not that they have much to play for in these final 3 weeks, but Jays are currently projected for 77 wins and Rays projected for 79-80 wins.

          Should both teams get at least 79 wins it would be the most wins a last place division team has ever gotten in AL history (the weird 2005 NL East still holds the record for only division in MLB history to have every team finish at least .500).


          In other history making news, White Sox are 10 losses away from breaking "modern era" (aka since 1900) MLB record for most losses in a season and 13 losses away from having lowest win% in the modern era.

          They'd need to go 11-8 to finish the year to not break either record.
