Who from your team do you think is primed for a breakout year?

    Mine:

    Seattle...

Jeremy Reed, Bobby Madritsch and Miguel Olivo. If they can stay healthy.

From my team? No one, as they are all pretty well proven veterans. From others? Joe Mauer. Injuries held him back last year. Justin Morneau as well even though he's already sort of broken out, but we have yet to see what he can do with a full season under his belt.

I'm hoping Matt Clement can finally reach his potential and win 15+ games. If he can stay healthy and get his control down, I could see him achieving this considering how good our offense is.

Aside from Clement, it may be a small role, but hopefully Matt Mantei can be a good setup man for Foulke this year. He was always good in Arizona but had a bad stretch.

EDIT: Also, anyone here a Mariners fan? If so, has anyone heard if Felix Hernandez may be called up after the All Star Break? I can not wait to see this kid in action, as i've followed him for a long time, and would like to see what he's really made of. He has the potential to be a great one.

Well the Yanks and Red Sox don't have too many young unproven players but.....

My picks would be Giambi, A-Rod, Clement, Adams, Rios, and Chacin.

I don't think it would really be considered a breakout if A-Rod had a great year. He's already proven he can be an elite player when he's on. But, you did name Rios, who also has great potential. Should be a good division to watch this year.
