If the Mets and Braves win tomorrow and Arizona loses Monday wouldn’t be needed for anything except seeding

Ah...I forgot Mets hold tie breaker over Arizona. Go Mets tomorrow...and go Braves. MLB has said they won't play the DH on Monday if seeding is all that is at stake...I'd rather not play on Monday.

Now some drama since Ohtani can backdoor his way to a Triple Crown (), but batting average leader Luis Arraez sat today, but is expected to play tomorrow.

Heading for chaos tomorrow if these scores keep up. Mets and Braves will need to split the doubleheader for both of them to make the playoffs

Need the Braves offense to act like they care…looking pretty punchless so far.

They should agree to only play 1 and winner forfeits game 2

I know they need to win today before worrying about tomorrow, but I don’t know about pitching Diaz with a five run lead and a doubleheader tomorrow

Since the 2023 ASB Sean Murphy has been an offensive dud. He’s good defensively, but we miss Contreras bat.

Fully expect the Braves to lose the first game on something fluky. The Mets will then start a pitcher no one has ever heard of in the second game and he will toss a two-hit shutout to end the Braves season.

Whoever wins game 1 is automatically in.

I do wonder what happens in game 2.

Atlanta winning game 1, they're for sure putting in the bench for game 2 and not burning any valuable arm since they're playing SD no matter what

Mets winning game 1, they'd either play Padres (if they win game 2) or Milwaukee (if they lose game 2), and given they're 5-2 vs Padres and 0-5 vs Brewers this season, they're no doubt probably hoping that they play the Padres.

I'm assuming the Braves rotation is in the same shape as the Mets due to the rainouts so winning game 1 is really important for both teams. The Mets won't have any available starters on regular rest Tuesday if they don't win game one and have to use Severino for game two.

I've already prepared myself for the Travis d'Arnaud walkoff grand slam in game one.

They held Sale back for the second game. Though if the Braves win the first game, they'll hold Sale for Game 1 of the WCS.

Schwellenbach is going in the first game tomorrow.

So d backs win 5 more games than last year, more then likely baring a Mets choke will miss the playoffs Tiebreakers need to be back

wait, so there was a short season with an AL team that won 95? that's even more impressive!

Actually, there was! Cleveland went 100-44 in the strike-shortened '95 season.
