I went with Cleveland Milwaukee but a Mets Yankees Subway Series would be great if the Mets actually make it to October.

Assuming the playoff field doesn't change, these would be my top choices:

1. Orioles vs Phillies
2. Dodgers vs Yankees
3. Braves vs Twins
4. Brewers vs Guardians

If the Mariners squeak in... play the Padres!
If the Red Sox sneak in... play the Mets!
If the Tigers sneak in... I don't know!

Intraleague playoff matchups I'd like to see:

1. Mets vs Phillies
2. Royals vs Yankees
3. Dodgers vs Padres

I don't even feel like hate-watching the Astros any more.

I feel the same. At the start of the season I really thought the Houston dynasty was dead ant the M's were going to win the division. Heck the Astros were even behind the A's for awhile there but Houston really showed me something the last three months. So in addition to a LA Houston rematch, a Atlanta Houston series and a Philly Houston rematch, I would be all in for. But I have to believe the television executives are hoping for a Yankee Dodger series.

Heck the Astros were even behind the A's for awhile there but Houston really showed me something the last three months. So in addition to a LA Houston rematch, a Atlanta Houston series and a Philly Houston rematch, I would be all in for. But I have to believe the television executives are hoping for a Yankee Dodger series.

The rare occasion where I'm (mostly) agreeing with the TV suits.

Plus the 1st World Series I ever watched was Dodgers vs Yankees (1981), so I'd be okay with seeing that matchup once (but only once) again.

Judge vs Ohtani alone would get huge hype, add in everything else and it'll be crazy.

"Worst" one for the league this season is probably Royals/Guardians vs Brewers?

That's why I said "Worst" for the league.

Whether I watch any sports playoffs I either want the biggest one (super team vs super team) if I'm invested in watching the finals/world series or the team(s) with the longest drought.

This year it would be either Yankees vs Dodgers or Guardians vs Brewers that fills each criteria.

I'm hoping that somehow the Tigers find their way into the postseason and matchup with the Astros at some point.

As much as I "dislike" the Yankees, there is something about October baseball, most notably the World Series, being played in the Bronx.

As it all sits now, I'm hoping to see Royals/Guardians come out of the AL and play the Padres/Mets of the NL. Just something different I guess.

I always like to see teams without much success compete for the World Series. For example. I think the Cubs-Cleveland series was a great World Series partly because one very long drought had to end.

So I'm rooting for Cleveland-Milwaukee out of the options but I'd also love to see Cleveland-San Diego. I'd even take Baltimore (since 1983 feels like a lifetime ago).

I am also sick of Houston and the Yankees getting knocked out before the World Series is always fun.

Yeah, if the Mets can't win it all, I'm hoping for a Cleveland Milwaukee series in the same way I want a Cleveland Detroit Super Bowl.

As a Reds fan with no horse in the race, 100% agreed. Love to see small markets get success vs. budgets more than twice their size like LAD or NYY or NYM...
