        Re: All Yankees Team

Chesbro and Pennock need to be in the starting rotation way ahead of Guidry and Pettite

That's all I've got off the top of my head
I creating Ryan Langarhans and put him in the braves roster, but not only my entire braves roster changed but other teams roster changed too. Why is that. Now if the braves or other teams trade or sign players, there will be no point for chsnging it. If u don't have online like me, u be sad too.

Good lord, that's almost a "Who's who" of baseball history.

Who else would you suggest to play short then? Alvaro Espinoza? Bucky F'n Dent? Gene Michael? Frank Crosetti? The even more overrated Phil Rizutto?

I agree that Jeter is as overrated as everyone says, but, let's be honest now, there isn't a SS in Yanks history who can hold a candle to him.

He was obviously referring to the fantastic Tony Fernandez...

Anyways... unless your In NY and you see Jeter play everyday... you can't ever really appreciate the type of player he is.

                            Re: All Yankees Team

Kind of cheating (and nullifying the best debate for this team) by listing three OF positions rather than Rf/CF/LF....

In other words... who is the best Centerfielder in Yankee history... Joltin Joe or the Mick??

I go with Mantle for his on-base skills and speed... besides that he was a funny and tragic figure while DiMaggio was kind of a jerk. Mantle had demons but was an otherwise good human being, someone you could relate too. I'm no fan of the Yankees, but Mantle is one of my favorite players from the history of this game.

And if you were to go with a true LF... who would that be?? Ruth played some LF so you could move him over there and get Reggie Jackson in at RF.
