What? He won 19 games in '65, 20 games in '66, 17 in '67, 31 in '68, and 24 in '69.

Certainly more than 1 good year.

Otto Velez is on the big club for the Jays but Carter is in A ball?!

I'd have put Fernandez ahead of Griffen when it comes to SS.

Jimy Williams as the manager? He's probably in 2nd place as the worst manager of the Jays in terms of how he handled personel and the media. I'd have put Cito or Bobby Cox as the manager.

Eh well.....I'm not controlling the team so I can't complain too much but that's what popped into my head.

Velez was overrated as of when that went up. In the latest build, he's toned down a bit.

Fernandez is the starting SS, Griffin in the backup. Lineups are at the bottom of the page.

Gaston is a player in the set for the Padres, Cox the manager of the Braves. Next in line for the Jays was Jimy.

Ok that seems fair. I must've overlooked the Starting Lineup. It was late when I looked thru it. That seems fair as far as i'm concerned.

I think the point is that if you remove the 31 game year he's muddled back in the late teens as far as great pitchers for the Tigers go. He should be on the team, but in AA ball.

There's just no way to justify him being on there when you dont have Jack Morris, George Mullin or Hooks Dauss in the majors.

Killian, Lary and McLain need to be dropped for Morris, Mullin and Dauss.
