Welp, Devin Williams has his contract, his beard, and his closer role.

After tonight, he will only maintain two of those three.

Its time for Charlie Morton to see the retirement home he tried to go into before Mike Elias just needed to sign him.

Cardinals are just 2-11 away from Busch Stadium this season. 10-5 at home.

Scary scene during the Pirate game tonight. Guy fell over the rail off the Clemente Wall. 20 foot fall, had medics attending to him. Weird scene all around.

Unless more development arises, hopefully they're alive and okay (and that there weren't any family members in attendance to witness it).

fun stat I had to research and debunk:

this is the 1st time the tigers have 19 wins before May 1 in franchise history

turns out, couldn't debunk it, even the '84 tigers were 18-2 at this point

'25 tigers have had 11 extra games to get there though

As the opposite of this, yesterday the Rockies tied the worst starting record (4-25) with the '03 Tigers and some other team, can't remember.

But it gave me a good chuckle when I heard Catherine O'Hara's character from The Last of Us compare the Little League game she was watching to that specific team.

Struggling to navigate so I hope this goes in the right thread.. Riley Greene became the first player in MLB history to hit 2 HRs in the same 9th inning of any game ever
