Pirates starting their bull**** early this year. Bednar should have been gone a year ago.

          Cardinals with the win!

Bullpen looked good aside from Leahy

Victor Scott made an amazing looking catch in that game.. Lots to like out of that game if you're a Cardinal fan.

And you're also in first place by virtue of everyone else losing.

I’ve said all offseason AA didn’t do enough for the bullpen…it will be a problem.

Tito is a good manager, but I'm glad it blew up in his face today. Don't get cute, pick one reliever or two and that's your committee, don't over complicate things.

Absolutely died laughing on my morning drive today.

Cal Raleighs walkup music last night was "Money for Nothing" which I thought was utterly bizarre.

Turns out he let the starting pitchers choose it.

                    100% pure gold.

Jays first night game of the season and its on Apple TV.

After last night, doesn't seem like we're missing much.

They need to at least give us a week in to the season before they start letting Apple steal games. The Mets are on apple tv tonight too but I wouldn't have been able to watch it anyway due to it being blacked out even though I don't live near Houston. I guess if they're going to lose a game to apple might as well be a game I wouldn't have been able to watch anyway

Dodgers Tigers, 2-2 in the 8th, Dodgers hit HR that was interfered with by fans. Riley Greene didn't even have to climb the wall to be in position for the catch.

Easy review. Suddenly, there aren't enough angles to see it, call is upheld.

9th inning, Tigers take the lead 4-3 on an amazing slide at the plate. Suddenly there are eleventy billion camera angles to show the runner got clipped on his back toe

Dodgers of course win in extras on a walkoff Mookie bomb

And then the absolute slobber fest over the Dodgers. Detroit is good though. They could of won both games

Be thankful the Tigers don't have to compete with the Dodgers for a playoff spot, or a World Series spot either, lol.

It's a weird time seeing what's going on in sports broadcasting.

I see some teams in some sports just giving their fans all the games, either for free or at a real reasonable price, but other times you'll see blackouts or regional restrictions or subscription only games and all that.

I said it about other leagues, but sports are designed for the average person on basic tv/viewing platforms. The more you dive in to subscriptions and all that, the more you're making it a niche thing and alienating people. That'll kill off the casual fans and lots of future casual fans.

Paying for a service makes you feel like you now must watch a certain amount to get your moneys worth, rather than the convenience of knowing its so easily available that you can watch any game if you feel like it, or flip between games.

That's one of the original appeals of sports on TV. Back in the days of people getting a handful of channels, one of those channels would carry sports. That's how you attract people to it and have a consistent following.
