The Mets just might actually be better than people think this year-- which is a friggin miracle as they are usually worse than people think like 99% of the time.

It looks as though the Mets are going to trade Joe McEwing before the end of training camp. He has struggled at the plate this spring batting .133 so far. With Miguel Cairo guarenteed a spot on the roster and Chris Woodward seemingly earning a spot there is no room on the Mets for "Super Joe" anymore.

As for the 5th starter spot, i think Ginter wins the job. It's between him and Jae Weong Seo and so has a ERA of 14.40 in 5 innings, Ginter has not allowed an earned run in 7 innings.

Roberto Hernandez may win himself a spot in the bullpen, so far Hernandez has not allowed a run in 4 innings.

Mets are okay, how about them Phillies!! Their offense just keeps on pounding in runs!
When life hands you a lemon, just look up and say, "Oh yeah, is that all you got? Because I love lemons!".

Hernandez is old. If he does make the spot, he'll really get hammered when the points really counts. I'll still keep him in the Triple A though. Does the Mets have a backup for 3B? God forbid that Wright becomes injured

Chris Woodward can play 3B. He played at 3rd for a bit while with the Jays.
