Exactly what I was going to point out, had you not beat me to the punch.

Koch could be another potential project for Mazzone. If Leo can turn Jaret Wright's career around, Antonio Alfonseca, John Burkett, etc., why can't he turn Koch back into the dominant pitcher that he was 3-4 years ago with Oakland?

This is only further evidence that Leo Mazzone and Rick Peterson are the best pitching coaches in the bigs.

Another sad story of roids? Used to throw 98-99mph, comes to the White Sox and cant throw more than 93. Now he's done. Ummmm

Both the Braves and the Mets could use help in their bullpens and both teams have very good pitching coaches. If i were Koch and had a choice between the two i think i would choose the Braves, Leo Mazzone has resurrected many careers over the years and could probably do the same for Koch.

I'd be surprised. As is my understanding is Koch always threw really hard (mid 90s) coming up till he was hurt. Then he gain a few MPH after Tommy John surgury. I don't know exactly what the problem has been with him now - maybe he is overthrowing?

Anyhow, his main problem these past years when he's struggled has been that he has had poor control. If can go somewhere (maybe here in ATL like some mentioned) and get that sorted out I think he can be a productive player again.
