Same here, others are comparing him to a young Ryne Sandberg. If he turns out like either of them I would be happy. Him and Rollins could be a good foundation, and if they can find a way to play Ryan Howard we are good to go.

A couple or so names not mentioned and maybe you guys can explain why/give comments on them.

Robin Roberts: This guy was one of, if not the most dominant pitcher for most of the 1950s. I think his downfall was overwork tho but when he was good he was AMAZINGLY so.

Gary Maddox: I've seen some games with this guy (thanks to MLB.com's Baseball's Best package and he seemed to be quite a good outfielder. I think he was the best defensive OF'er for the Phils in that era as well as a pretty good bat.

Bob Boone: This man spent almost a full decade with the Phils and he had a darn good bat. He was also quite a good defensive catcher and seemed to call a pretty good game as well.

              Here's why no Mitch Williams:

              BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The image depresses me too tho. It's been far too long since the Jays were a dominant team.

Actually Boone and Maddox are worthy, forgot about them.
