    Re: Bonds did Steroids knowingly...

Since it appears no one else has mentioned this.....

The other person who is potentially in jeopardy of being prosecuted for perjury is...Barry Bonds. Who of course testified under oath in the Balco trial and reportedly admitted to taking steriods "unknowingly." Why would prosecutors be bringing in his girlfriend to testify about whether Bonds knew he was taking steriods or not?

With the MLB, Balco prosecutors, and potentially the IRS all over this guy, it's no wonder he is tired *Newsday Article - Feds, MLB may interrupt Bonds' chase*

        Re: Bonds did Steroids knowingly...

Good article. I found this part interesting:

"Dan Richman, a Fordham Law School professor who worked as a federal prosecutor in New York from 1987-92, said that very few people are actually tried for perjury. However, he added, "If a perjury case is pursued, there's a very good chance that a person charged with perjury winds up in jail."

Considering Barry was their target from day 1, I'd say they'll go after him on whatever they can.

What you don't understand is that he doesn't want sympathy, he just wants to go about his business, and for people to get off his nuts. Now if people don't wanna do that, that is their choice, but this isn't a sympathy plea.

u have to be kidding me, yes he is using sympathy. u have to realize his options r slim at this point and sympathy is one option he is taking. just listen to him and look how he acts, its not hard to tell. lets see, bringing ur kid with u in an interview saying things like im tired im done my family is crying thats his way of trying to get people to be sympathetic for him. but it wont work cuz the guy lies every other day, and he hated the media from the start of his career.

I am guessing he told her about the roids because he couldn't get an erection one time and had to explain to the mistress why.
