Pitchers aren't afraid of him taking one out. That's not why they pitch around him. He's still a great hitter, juiced up or not.
That's pretty much my viewpoint too. If steroids help that much, why aren't Marvin Bernard, Jeremy Giambi, and Bobby Estalella All-Stars?

Can we stop with the bonds before/after picture posting already? You are either convinced by that or you are not. Posting this same thread over and over again isn't going to make a difference.

No I dont. But this roids talk gives all of the Bonds haters a license to try and discredit all his achievements. If you didnt like him before as most of y'all did, you all must of got hard ons when this came out. y'all probrably smiled from ear to ear and your hearts jumped for joy when it came out he had a trainer who had connections to roids dealing. So why would I think that any of you would give him a fair shake. Look at the photos of James Toney and stop splitting atoms. everyone says "IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT ON AS MUCH WEIGHT AS HE HAS WITHOUT ROIDS" Look at the James Toney photo and s.t.f.u. (shut the ... you know the rest). Look at Toney's head. That tends to be the "TELLING SIGN" that bonds used roids. So how did James Toney get such a big Noggin huh?

I'm still defending my case about Bonds, but even if I DID believe he took steroids, this here is not the proof. I'm sorry, it just isn't.

Well it was front page news in your area. HE ADMITTED to the GRAND JURY that he took them. Can the proof be any greater.

Bonds always had awesome hand-eye-coordination and quick wrists, the difference is when you take steriods, those warning track shots turn into home runs. That's why some players never had great success with steriods, because they don't have the hand eye coordination and quick strong wrists to begin with. So bulking up, if anything, slows them down a little.
