Best Back to Back to Back Days (Starting Pitchers)

The 1, 2, 3's in each rotation of the MLB... which team has the best 3 starting pitchers on the roster (the best chance to go on a quick 3 game win streak).

    My Top 10:

    10. (ARI) Vazquez, Ortiz, Webb
    9. (LAA) Colon, Escobar, Washburn
    8. (SD) Williams, Lawrence, Peavy
    7. (LAD) Lowe, Weaver, Perez
    6. (CHW) Buehrle, Garcia, Contreras
    5. (BOS) Schilling, Wells, Clement
    4. (CIN) Wilson, Milton, Ortiz
    3. (CHC) Wood, Maddux, Prior
    2. (NYY) Johnson, Mussina, Pavano
    1. (HOU) Clemens, Pettite, Oswalt

The Marlins make a huge case... if they switched Dontrelle Willis and Al Leiter in the Rotation... making Leiter 3rd and Willis 4th, The Marlins would be 5th on the list, knocking the D-Backs off.

I'm a reds fan but wells, schilling and clement are leagues ahead, skill wise, compared to Wilson and the 2 new guys.

yes I know they aren't going in this order, however. if healthy. The best 3 in baseball are Wood/Prior/Zambrano

when on top of their game and healty, they are practically unhittable

You must be a Cincinatti fan. Wilson, Milton, and Ortiz are lucky to be in the top 10 list. They should be 10th or 11th.

Yeah, I'm a Reds fan and I don't think Wilson, Ortiz, and Milton deserve to be ranked so high. Milton had a good year last year, but he is a fly-ball pitcher and balls fly out of Great American. Also, Ortiz needs to go back to 2002 form, and Wilson needs to continue the success of last year. That's too many What If's? for them to be ranked that high.

On a side note, hopefully all of that happens and the Reds do well this year

                    Top-5

#1 - Johnson, Mussina, Pavano; All potential 18+ game winners.
#2 - Wood, Prior, Maddux; Add Zambrano in the bunch and they become the best 1,2,3,4 punch in the MLB.
#3 - Clemens, Oswalt, Pettite; If Andy stays healthy.
#4 - Schilling, Wells, Clement; Thats alot of strikeouts.
#5 - Williams, Lawrence, Peavy; Mostly because of Peavy.

I also think Cincy is too high on that previous list, they wouldn't even be in my Top-10.

Smoltz-Hudson-Ramirez may be up there by the end of the season.

I agree. As long as Ramirez continues to progress like expected, there's no doubt they'll be up there.
