Galarraga was always a class act as a player, while it is sad to see him retire 1 homer shy of 400 if he does not believe he can play up to his expectations than good for him leaving on his own terms. Especially after two bouts with cancer.
I would not be surprised to see Andres coaching in the majors one day, he was a good hitter, not just a power hitter. And with his upbeat attitude and that big smile he always had some team could definitly benefit from having him on their staff.Comment

I never understood Mr. 3000. Like, I haven't seen it yet, but is there some specific reason as to why 3 of the hits didn't count?

Big Cat's move kinda reminds me of the movie, except for the fact that Bernie's character was a selfish pr*ck (aka Bonds). Andres overcame a lot more than just baseball and he will for sure be missed.Comment
