I think it's becaause he's been so relaxed this ST. The cup of coffee in the Bigs last year really prepared him for what to expect. I don't know if he'll be on the big club all year but I really like what I see from him.

Thanks for the pics and reports, Tyler and Squid. Nice to see Junior's face on the jumbotron again.
I've heard great things about Gross as well. Is he starting on Opening Day for the Jays?MLB: Cincinnati Reds
NFL: Cincinnati Bengals
NCAA Hoops: Xavier Musketeers
NCAA Football: Miami Hurricanes
NHL: Calgary Flames

Originally posted by fsquidI forgot about this thread too and I went. The only player that I saw was Gabe Gross. No idea who he is and if he's a prospect or what, but I love his swing. Kind of a Steve Garvey type swing. It looks so relaxed and fluid, doesn't look like it would get power in that thing, but it does somehow.
Much better baseball player though
Atlanta Braves - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

The plan for the first few games is to platoon Rios (vs. lhp) and Gross (vs. rhp) in RF.Comment
