    How 'bout those Reds?! 7-6

The Reds always seem to find a way to win Opening Day (with the exception of the GABP grand opening when Reggie Sanders went nuts for the Pirates). The Mets should have left Dae-Sung Koo in there. The Reds couldn't hit him.

Mets fans need to relax. It's a long season. And, it's only one win for the Reds. Loooooong way to go. Great start though.

The bullpen is going to cost the mets alot of games this year, hopefully for the team and its fans Minaya can work something out
The thing I don't get is the Mets went out and spent money to get Carlos Beltran, Pedro Martinez and Doug Mientiewcz (sp), and then, Manny Aybar is the first guy out of the pen, and Looper is still their closer. I know there were some relievers out there to be acquired.

Aybar was in the Mexican League last year for crying out loud, I believe.

I just don't understand the reasoning.

Yeah, I'm not throwing in the towel just yet. It just sucks seeing a good overall effort wasted at the end. Oh well, 161 more to go.

I was saying I can understand some of the mets fans reasoning for wanting to jump off the bridge

They undoubtedly should have gone after more relievers IMO

It looked like the Mets were going to win this game. Pedro had a great game and then when the bullpen came in, they were horrible. There are many questions looming about the Mets bullpen.

Don't mean to piss of rockie fans or people in colorado, but the Rockies need to be moved.

I don't see how they can suceed with that thin air, pitching is ridiculous.
