Paul Wilson has been all over the place today. I'm surprised he's only given up 3 runs.
Loved Dunn's bomb though. That at bat was a great one. He didn't swing at the high heaters and was patient.MLB: Cincinnati Reds
NFL: Cincinnati Bengals
NCAA Hoops: Xavier Musketeers
NCAA Football: Miami Hurricanes
NHL: Calgary Flames

Re: Mets-Reds, Opening Day... Let's Git It On!!!
I've watched since the 3rd inning. So far Pedro looks like the Pedro of a year ago, starts off with a nothing fastball and then loosens up some. and starts hitting 92-93 at times. He's lived off of his change-up and I'd expect him to rely on that pitch alot since most of the NL hitters haven't seen much of him and his change.
Pedro just finished the 5th at 88 pitches, I'm curious to see how far Randolph lets him go. I expect him to be out to start the 6th, but will they pull him if he hits 100 in the inning?Last edited by Misfit; 04-04-2005, 02:50 PM.Comment

I'd have someone in the pen ready for the first hit Pedro gives up in the 6th, either way....Hit or not I'd pull him at the 100 pitch mark
But jeez, great show by Pedro, 12 Ks.....I am really wishing he was still in a Red Sox uniform, but it wasn't meant to be.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried.
