Doesn't Fetters do it because of asthma? I'm pretty sure he mentioned that in an interview while he played in Pittsburgh. He said he turns his head and exhales deeply to relax himself (so he doesn't have an asthma attack on the mound).Comment

I wonder if there's video on the net of Randy Johnson facing (I think) John Kruk in an all star game where he took a pitch, ducked and batted from the other side for the rest of the AB.
