I already knew he was quite the character before, but with those kind of comments he's not going to be too popular with his teammates or fans.

Judging by the lack of interest from teams in the off-season, it looks like they were afraid something like this would happen.

Main thing is he's not shifting blame to anyone, but himself. He did say a lot of it's my fault, and he's lost his "zeal" for the game. I don't agree with quitting on your team, but at least he's not hiding from it.

I miss him and I know the Cards are/will be missing him this year. But that's the way free agency works.

But both home runs came after defensive plays that could have been made. "Really stupid plays," Kline said, taking care not to assign blame.

On the first play, Kline fielded a sacrifice bunt by Oakland's Mark Kotsay and tossed toward second baseman Brian Roberts, only to have John Gibbons, something of a novice first baseman, intercept the ball before it got to the bag. All runners were safe.

Well it's a good thing he didn't sign with the Jays. This guy seems to have a comment about everything. I think he said some stuff about the Cubs last year that weren't very nice either.

This clown has always been a piece of crap. When the O's traded for corky I wondered how they would get along cause Kline always talked **** about the Cubs and hates corky. That classless piece of crap said he hoped someone would hit a line drive off Prior's face. A true scumbag.

Hmm... I didn't know about that. Unless Prior did something/said something to Kline about himself or his family/friends, that's a pretty classless thing to say.

I was shaking my head when he was talking about signing with the O's basically because of the money and the need to feed his family. The Jays offered him more money and he turned it down.

I don't think Kline has ever had a second thought about anything he has ever said. In fact he probably has never had a second thought. I have to say I love Kline cause he says whats on his mind. Most jocks say "take it day by day, whatever comes comes blah, blah blah... Kline just tells you what he thinks no matter how stupid. I wish more guys just let it all out like he does. He may be dumb and classless but how many other lefty relievers does anybody start forums about.

Maybe Baltimore will get fed up with him and deal him back to STL, I'd love to have him back as long as he'd take a paycut.
