Dude hits him in the face and another guy throws a beer on him, I think he showed a great deal of restraint considering the situation. Why don't you roll over by my house and I'll hit you for no reason and for good measure have one of my buddies dump 24oz. of beer on you, then we'll see how you react.

I havent watched any games on NESN yet, what happened to McDoughna. Sorry I cant spell it. It terrable that this happened. It will take away from a good series played by Boston unless they blow this.

No it wont take away from how Boston played...unless you watch ESPN but thats like the Entertainment Tonight of sports.

Orsillo has been their regular announcer for a couple years now. McDounough was doing the Friday night games up until this year.

I am because I dont have a box in my computer room, you dont have to tell me anything about that bafoon that was announcing tonight. The bottom line is that this will be the lead story overshadowing the actual on the field game. By ESPN FOX and whoever covered the game will write about this and then the palace incident will come up again too. Oh well at least it didnt happen at Wrigley again like the Chad Kruter incident.

you have anger issues along with vision issues it was a guys beer but it was spilled from a chain reaction from the woman getting bumped and knocking her into another woman and then knocking that guy down and his beer spilled and the word HIT is being used totally wrong

really, damn I guess I have always watched NESN on friday nights which would make sense because if the cubs play at home on friday its during the day leaving me to watch other games on fri night. Thanks, good win for you

Its unbelievable. For the last 5 years... the Sox throw at our hitters (many more times than the Yanks have hit them... I'll get the numbers if anyone actually needs them )... their fans come into our bullpen... they chant curses at us.... and they just generally act like idiots.

I seriously dislike stupid Sox fans like this.

Then replay it and you'll see that he clearly throws the beer, it was no accident. The beer is out of the cup before Sheff turns to push the guy.

Honestly from what I saw, their were two girls beside the dummy that reached over

When Sheff and the fan got into it, they started leaning the opposite way, when they did that, they bumped into the guy, causing his beer to spill out.

And McJackass (McDonough) was let go because of contract demands I believe
