    Anyone else have extra innings?

If you can afford to fork over 180 bones, I recommend it. The local announcers are much easier to listen to than the ESPN yahoos. Take the Sheffield incident tonight for example. I turned it to ESPN to see if they had a replay on what happened and the first thing I heard was Chris Berman (who has no business announcing games) on his soapbox. So I naturally turned it back to NESN. Plus you can watch any game you want.

i was going to get it but it wasn't offered in my respective area, even though it's advertised on Charter.com

So I got it through my computer, don't regret it at all. Love watching all the west coast games late at night that aren't typically broadcasted. Good stuff

I'm not positive, but you could maybe work out a payment plan for it online.

I know they were going to let me do that with Extra innings on my cable provider before I found out it wasn't available here

I got it here in Philly as part of Comcast Digital Cable. $149 for the whole season, which is really a drop in the bucket if you pro-rate it over the number of games you're getting over the course of the whole year. I believe $149 was the early bird special though, which has likely gone up since I ordered it. But it's something like 4 equal payments, so there is a payment plan in effect by default.

I heartily, heartily recommend it....although I wish they supported HD. It's still fantastic though.

Yeah,it was really annoying to hear the ESPN guys put their spin on it. I was watching Baseball Tonight and Karl Ravich said something to the effect of "Don't you guys think Sheffield overreacted?" And Bowa looked at him liked he'd grown a second head. I'm seriously considering dropping 180 dollars for it,because I just don't think I can watch another game on ESPN after the junk I listened to last night.

Skerik is right about 150 being the early bird special. I was a little late in getting that. Actually I think its 170 for me (its either 169 or 179) but, yeah, if its 170 all the better, right?

Cant disagree with you there. Have you noticed how even NESN has an amazing picture relative to the various Fox channels that look like public access?

I had it last year, loved being able to watch the Expos games on the different feeds as they only showed about 20 Expos games locally, here in Montreal. This year all I have is Yes,MSG and Fox Sports NY,so I only get the Yanks and Mets...

Actually if you have a BroadBand connection and don't mind watching baseball on your computer you can get MLBTV from MLB.com for only $79 for the entire season. They actually give you more games then the Extra Innings package.
