    Octavio Dotel

I'm asking this for fantasy purposes... but this basically applies to the MLB season. Does anyone think or anyone in the Bay area heard if Huston Street will be the closer by the end of the year or will Dotel retain the job all year?

Well, if Street continues to progress the way he has, it's a possibility he'll become the closer by the end of the year. I do think the A's won't force any action or pressure on the young guy so fast. Next year, he'll be the closer for sure. Dotel played well yesterday pitching 1.2 innings and notching his first save so I don't see him being removed from the job as an A. I think the only way Street becomes closer is if Dotel goes down or gets dealt
    I do because I can, I can because I want, I want because you say I can't

If Dotel is free-agent eligible at the end of the season, you can count on Beane trading him before the deadline.
