    Derek Lee; a monster!

Derek Lee is having an absolutely amazing april. Typically a slow starter in this month, but he has just hit the cover off the ball. He has single-handedly kept the cubs at .500

4-4 6 rbi's today in the bottom of the eighth.

    GOOD JOB CUBBIES!!!
Coming back form down 6-2 to win on a walk-off jack by Patterson.

Here's to hoping Baker starts Rusch instead of Dempster next time around...

i got to witness firsthand his power last night. I was sitting down the left field line, and wow...that ball in the first inning was crushed. Even more amazing on a cold night and the wind blowing directly to right at about 15mph

One of the few professionals and class acts on this team. You can tell he tunes that fat bum Dusty out. Keep it up Derek.

He should be Player of the Month.

I'm still trying to figure out why they pitched to him that last time!!!

            Derek is a class act.

            (Glad he's my Fantasy Team's 1B)

Not sure if he's still doing it but the first few games of the year he was wearing the blue cubs 'Believe' rubberband....thought it was pretty cool.

Anyone that can hit for average and power like he does, and can move on the basepaths should be in the top 4 of your lineup, and it is good Dumba**ty has finally got that together.
I don't care if Patterson hits 3d, like he did today, though he belongs in the 5-6 hole, undoubtedly. Lee should be 3-4 all year, and Burnitz should never hit above 5-6.

Great start by Lee and I hope he can keep it up If Ramirez and Lee can carry the offense and Prior, Wood, and Zambrano can pitch well and stay healthy, well then - we'll see what happens
