    Interesting...

I have standings/playoffs picks but I don't want to post them because I think they'll just get lost so...

    NL MVP: Pujols
    NL Cy Young: Peavy
    AL MVP: Hideki Matsui
    AL Cy Young: R. Johnson

Interesting how you went out on a limb and still picked the Yankees...I think they will probably be a wild card team, they are starting off really slow right now and I dont know if they can pick up enough steam to win the East outright. Same for San Diego but it is a very long season so we will see.

I find it hard to believe the Padres will finally pull it together this year. I still think the Giants are going to take this division, even though the Dadgers look pretty good right now.

The Padres are the biggest underachieving or the most overrated team this year... you could go either way? Are they that talented? Or are they given too much credit for little talent?

            Right now that is...

The Dodgers just got swept by Arizona...They lead the division by .5 games...maybe that was an early season fluke by the Dodgers

Well one things for sure, the Padres can help other teams start going on a tear (hence Arizona).

A limb? Come on.. it's not like anyone has been close to them in the past.. They are just in a major funk.

                    NL West: San Fransisco Giants
                    NL Central: St. Louis Cardinals
                    NL East: Atlanta Braves
                    NL Wild Card: Florida Marlins

                    AL West: Anaheim Angels
                    AL Central: Minnesota Twins
                    AL East: Boston Red Sox
                    AL Wild Card: Baltimore Orioles

                    NLCS: St Louis over Atlanta
                    ALCS: Boston over Anaheim
                    WS: St Louis over Boston

A rematch of last year. I think with Mulder and a healthy Chris Carpenter the Cards will have the pitching to matchup with the Sox this time around.
