I liked him better than the current idiot Darren Jackson.

Darrin Jackson may not be the best at color, but the man knows his stuff. His baseball knowledge is incredible...the guy has played everywhere.

Ok, so, I see it says you're from NY, so, I'll cut you a little slack on this one.

But, simply put, it's pretty hypocritical for a Braves fan to complain about other teams having homers for announcers when two of the biggest idiots in the baseball business Bob Rathbun and Tom Paciorek are doing Braves games every Wednesday on Fox Sports South. I'm sure those two bafoons make the Marlins announcers look like unbiased, intelligent, informative students of the game.

Screw that, but how bout Don Sutton and Peter Van Weirn *sp*. Those two are clowns..... homerclowns. I can't stand to listen to them. Yeah I find it funny a Braves fan complaining bout other teams announcers.

During the Yankees-DRays game this series, some old guy was doing the announcing.

There was a pop up to center that the CF had to move maybe 30 feet for, but not fast at all.

So the announcer says, with panic in his voice, theres a hard hit liner to center, the CF is racing over and makes a spectacular catch, robbing *player* of sure extra bases.

Then last year, I heard Sutton call Franco "Methusaleh" at least 10 times throughout the season..and it was the exact joke each time.
