Great win tonight, getting 2 in the 9th off Farnsworth to win 7-6.

Coming from a Cubs fan, that Farnsworth outing looked very familar. I told my buddy that he was going to blow it and he came through for me.

It sure was a great victory to end the 4 game slide...nice to see the team not give up after being down 5-0.

However, it was not good news hearing Maroth needs surgery, possibly being out until at least August. We need to shore up that empty spot in the rotation, and Colon definitely isn't the answer.

Good win tonight. The rookie debuts tomorrow. Hopefully they will stop using Todd "No lead is safe" Jones for the closer.

I can't stand watching this team anymore. Its like a house of cards waiting to collapse. Its clear that the early season success was just smoke and mirrors and a product of an easy schedule. By the end of June, the question in Motown will be, "Can the Tigers finish .500?"

Playin Easily 3 of the Best teams in baseball...sure the Yankees kinda made them look bad but they did take 1 from the Red Sox so i dont think there to worried. They lost last night 4-3 I believe ...What is so bad?

there still 1 1/2 games up in the Division, Sure I dont think there gonna win the Division but you act like they were just plain out lucky to be 21 games over .500 at 1 point. I do think there goal will definatly be to stay over .500 but I see them finishing anywhere from 5 to even 10 games over .500

As the injuries mount and the bullpen unravels, I see them finishing 82-80 at best. Most likely they will play .300 baseball until the All-Star break.

Thank God the Tigers finally get a win against the White Sox this season...good outing for Rogers after a first inning mistake to Konerko. One more tough series against Toronto up next, with a bit of a reprieve coming with matchups against TB, Cubs, and Milwaukee after that.

Huge Win for the Tigers last night to keep a hold on 1st place. They really played like they needed, NEEDED, not wanted that game. Pudge tagging from 1st on the fly and then Guillen pulling a WILLIE MAYS "Freakin'" HAYES and scoring from second on an infield single while Konerko was looking at the 1st base ump. Classic!

Brutal loss for the tigers. Todd Jones needs to go. How can you have a closer with an ERA at 7.69 and an opponents batting average of .375?

Agreed...give Rodney the job for the rest of the year and see how he performs; he excelled in it while Jones was injured and Jones has been throwing nothing but meatballs lately. Although everyone in the bullpen had trouble getting an out last night, Jones definitely doesn't have it anymore.

Good back to back wins for the Tigers and take 2 out of 3 from the Blue Jays. Hopefully, the Tigers can take some momentum back home against TB. Tomorrow's pitching duel should be a good one...Verlander vs. Kazmir.

                            Nice power display yesterday.

It's really nice to see the Tiges winning the ones they should (for a change). Pretty damn impressive to hold off the hard charging teams in the AL to maintain the best record.

                            Bless You, Boys!!!

This team just won't quit! Nice rally for the comeback victory and give Bonderman the W after a stellar pitching performance to keep them in the game...7 innings, 1 earned run, and 12 K's. Thank God Jones didn't blow it!

Great game. It's a pity that Brandon Inge can't get that average over .235 because he's a fantastic heads up ball player. But, I think the Tigers are going to likely bring over Aubrey Huff from the D-Rays and you're going to see a lot of platooning for Inge.
