Learning Spanish helped my lady game considerably. In baseball parlance, it was like Mike Scott with the Astros back in 1986 when he learned the split fingered fastball... Untouchable...

I actually turned the game off before it ended; I figured, "I've seen this movie before; I already know how it ends..." I was surprised when I went to check the score before I went to bed and saw that we won... I'll take it, even if it was a fluke, just like Johan did...

I turned off the game right before the 9th. We don't blow saves if I'm not watching or listening. So I think I've found my new way to follow the Mets.

It seems that everyone has a ****e bullpen this year. Only problem is that the Phils are one of the best and they are in our division.

Mets bullpen issecond in holds in the MLB. So either Wagner is ****e or our bullpen is overworked already.

I just wish he'd conserve his pitches more... I'm sure not all of it is his fault, but it seems he can barely get past 6 innings. Granted, tonight he had a 10 run lead to work with, coming off a stint on the DL, so it was a great opportunity to let the bullpen get their mind right.

I like the Moiphy kid.... A LOT. Something about the way he approaches his at-bats tells me we're going to be hearing a lot about him in the future.

great game - not only for the offense, but Stokes pitching 4 quality innings out of the pen..

The more I see of this Murphy, the more I like..

And best of all? It's been announced that Mikey P will be in house when Shea closes (some sort of ceremony)..
